Our President and Founder, David Sinnott, has been deeply involved in all aspects of networking since the early 1980’s. When the Internet exploded on the scene in 1994, Mr. Sinnott’s expertise was in high demand. Siemens hired Mr. Sinnott to help it design and execute its global Internet provisioning strategy. Beyond the basics, security policies were defined and introduced. Given Mr. Sinnott’s experience, many of the nation’s first, branded Internet Service Providers (ISPs) sought his advice, along with several of the earliest ecommerce companies.
To scale his signature brand of service, Mr. Sinnott recruited and trained like-minded, passionate networking technicians and founded Proactive Networks & Security in 1997. Not only are many of Mr. Sinnott’s original clients still on board but, most all of Mr. Sinnott’s original team remain together today.
